Welcome to the 2026 Annual General Assembly. We give thanks and praise to Almighty God, who in His sovereignty and grace has granted us the privilege to gather once again in unity—for worship, fellowship, and divine direction.

I extend heartfelt greetings to all Chief Helpers, Bishops, Elders, Ministers, Deacons, Young Adults, Youth, Members, Delegates, Guests, and Friends of this General Assembly. It is with great anticipation and spiritual expectation that we embrace this year’s theme: “Chosen People Praying, Praising, and Prepaying for the Promised Land.”

This theme calls us to a deeper understanding of our identity and responsibility as God’s elect. As declared in Revelation 19:7, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.” Likewise, 1 Peter 2:9 reminds us, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” Together, these scriptures affirm that we are not only chosen, but called to prepare, to praise, and to participate actively in God’s divine promises.

Over the past year, our great church has continued to witness the hand of God move mightily among us. Our members have excelled across various fields of ministry and life—achieving distinction in academia, leadership, entrepreneurship, and global outreach. We have seen the expansion of ministries, the planting of new churches, and the strengthening of our international witness. These accomplishments stand as a testament to God’s favor and the anointing upon this body of believers.

We rejoice that souls have been saved, lives have been transformed, and leaders have been raised and affirmed for such a time as this. Even in moments of sorrow, as we have mourned the transition of faithful servants into glory, we remain steadfast in hope, trusting in the promises of God. Our prayers and compassion continue to surround every bereaved family.

As we assemble this year, let us fully embrace our calling as a chosen people. We are called to pray with fervency, praise with authenticity, and prepay with faith—investing spiritually, sacrificially, and expectantly in what God has promised. The Promised Land is not merely a destination, but a divine fulfillment that requires preparation, obedience, and unwavering trust in God.

Let this 2026 General Assembly be a time of renewal, alignment, and consecration. As we ready ourselves as the Bride of Christ, may our lives reflect His glory, our voices resound with His praise, and our actions demonstrate our faith in His promises.

May the grace of God lead us, the power of the Holy Ghost sustain us, and the promise of God propel us forward.
