Chief Overseer offers condolences to President-General, Bishop Ivy Hopkins and her family

CHARLESTON - Bishop Clary K. Butler, Sr. and Deaconess Patsy Butler offer their deepest condolences to Bishop Ivy Hopkins the President General (Chief Overseer) of The House of God, Church of the Living God, Pillar, and Grond of the Truth - White Dominion

"We join the Church of the Living God, The Pillar and Ground of the Truth, Inc. in mourning the loss of Deacon Curtis R. Hopkins, Sr., loving husband of President-General (Chief Overseer), Bishop Ivy A. Hopkins.

To Bishop Hopkins, my fellow co-laborer in Christ, we know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. As Chief Overseer I understand the strength and support our spouses add to our lives and ministries. It is with profound sadness that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved husband. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Your husband's legacy and the love you shared will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. May you find peace in the cherished memories you shared together and in the support of your loved ones. Please know that I am here for you in any way you may need, whether it be a listening ear or a partner in prayer.

In spite of the immense sadness of this day, we take confidence in knowing death is not the end for those who die in Christ. While I am sure your memories will remain strong in the years to come, take comfort in knowing we will see Deacon Hopkins again. What a day of rejoicing that will be. Until then I remain…"

In His Service,

Bishop Clary K. Butler, Sr.

Chief Overseer
